60 vs 90 Minute Massage: how long should you book?
60 and 90 minutes are our two most booked lengths. Here's what you actually get in each, and when a shorter or longer session makes more sense.
The short answer
60 minutes is enough for a full-body massage at a comfortable pace. 90 minutes covers the whole body and leaves real time for the areas that need more work, which is why it's the length we recommend for deep tissue.
| Length | Best for | Swedish | Deep tissue |
|---|---|---|---|
| 30 min | One problem area, like the neck and shoulders | — | $70 |
| 45 min | Back, neck and shoulders, or a quick full body | $70 | $80 |
| 60 min | Full body at a relaxed pace; the classic first booking | $80 | $90 |
| 90 min | Full body plus focused work on tight areas | $120 | $140 + free hot stone |
| 120 min | The most thorough session; a real treat | $160 | $180 |
When 60 minutes is right
- It's your first massage, or you mainly want to relax
- You get massages regularly and just need a tune-up
- You're fitting it into a lunch break or a busy evening
When 90 minutes is worth it
- You have several tight areas, like neck, shoulders and lower back
- You want deep tissue: firmer work needs time to warm up the muscles first
- It's been a long time since your last massage
Our recommendation: the 90-minute Deep Tissue ($140) includes a free hot stone add-on ($20 value). The free hot stone is for the 90-minute Deep Tissue only. Mention the offer when you arrive.
Other lengths and services
Most of our massages come in several lengths: prenatal (60–90 min), aromatherapy (45–120 min), lymphatic drainage (60–120 min) and four hands (45–90 min). See every length and price on the full menu.
